The CopperWynd Resort and Club has a unique location. The building sits pretty on the border of Scottsdale Fountain hills. Though it sounds precarious, the resort still manages to provide most of the modern amenities. The guests can expect beautiful lofty villas with large rooms. Also they could play a few sets of tennis or tee off at the golf course. Around sunset, dinner at the restaurant—Alchemy is a great dining experience.

For the more relaxed ones there’s the spa. The Spa at CopperWynd merges French aesthetic and therapeutic methods with distinct Southwestern touches that provide connection to the area’s rich, vital mix of cultures and traditions. The 5,000-square-foot facility features six treatment rooms in addition to a technologically advanced fitness center with a wide selection of daily group classes. The spa also contains a pool area located on a gentle desert slope encompassing a whirlpool, 2,200-square-foot (204 square meters) free-form social pool, and 1,000-square-foot (93 square meters) mountainside lap pool.

Services incorporate elements of the surrounding Southwestern landscape along with all-natural marine-based Phytomer products from France’s Brittany coast. The signature Amethyst Renewal Body Treatment is a 90-minute invigorating and exfoliating service combining a scrub, hot stone massage with aromatherapy cream, and application of the exclusive Amethyst Body Lotion, which integrates pulverized precious stones from a nearby Four Peaks mine. As part of a nine-step cleansing process involving Asian-inspired ingredients and techniques, the two-hour Signature Cloud Nine service integrates a customized blend of desert herbs such as sage, lavender, and hibiscus.

The spa treatment menu is complemented by mind/body offerings such as Perscentoelogy, a relaxing full-body treatment that promotes energy balancing and aims to analyze personality traits through toe reading. Hypnotherapy and energizing Reiki massage are also performed by experienced professionals.
